In my humble opinion, it’s because American girls are taught from an early age that the only difference between men and women are their genitals. American women have self esteem and expectations of being treated as equals in all matters.
Many other cultures have a long way to go to catch up in this thinking. Girls are not treated equally from birth. They are taught in many conscious or subconscious ways that men are superior. Hence, they grow up yearning for the approval of men. (Do you see how the more education a woman has, the less likely she is to play second fiddle to a man? It’s no wonder that for many centuries, men tried to keep women from higher education.)
With that said, it is possible to find an American woman who will put her man above her. Look for…
1. …an uneducated woman with low self-esteem.
2. …an educated woman with self esteem issues.
3. …a woman who was unloved by her father or parents.
4. …a woman who was raised in a traditional home.
5. …a woman who has traditional Bible-belt type religious upbringing.
6. …an American woman with a foreign background.
American women are raised to have their own lives. They don’t live through their men. They have their own agendas to pursue. They aren’t likely to put up with crap from a stupid man. It takes a strong man to appreciate a good American woman.
I say this because I am an educated American woman with an ethnic background. But I also have esteem issues plus traditional religious and cultural training that taught me my purpose in life was to be my man’s helpmate. I left my career behind to take care of his every need and desire. In a twisted way, it brings me great satisfaction. He says he is totally satisfied and feels like the luckiest man alive.
If you do find the right woman who will treat you like her master and king, treat her right.

I’m an Australian woman, and I quite agree with that statement! I think it may be because the US is filled to the brim with avaliable men! They believe that if something goes wrong in a relationship or marriage, a divorce or breakup is so readily avaliable, and a replacement is so easy to find! In Australia for example I believe we’re a lot more down to earth and much more easygoing and therefore we try to keep relationships afloat! But be careful abou the way you generalise because you’ve now got heaps of American women answering this question who are now extremely p*ssed off with you!

American women can earn an equal amount of money if they really want to. They don’t need us the way women from other cultures do. The problem is that we still need them the way we have for hundreds of years. The change in the way women act towards men in the last 30 to 40 years has not been for the benefit of society overall. There’s a lot of great American women out there, but you have to treat some of them differently then your instinct tells you to. Overall, I prefer to treat a lady like a lady, and have them treat me like a man…not like a fashion accessory to be thrown out when enxt year’s line comes out.

We went to a cookout with some couples from her country and there was tremendous respect from the girl to the man…they waited hand and foot on the men….because the man will abuse her is she doesn’t “respect” him…or disrespect him infront of others….but since I’m American…and I don’t believe in beating my woman….she runs the show.
