When Will People Get Over The Taboo Of Men And Women Having Tattoos?
My son is a tattoo artist as well as his friend. My son has most of his body covered in tattoos. Most people are scared of him and he is such a Mama’s boy. I myself got my first tattoo at 40 yrs. My parents thought I was nuts. I now have 7 of them and they are all family related. I am not ashamed and neither is my family. As a matter of fact my girl scout troop (yes I am a leader) find them awesome. But at this time of year with summer clothing, when my daughter and I go shopping someone always seems to comment which I just shrug off and it makes my daughter uncomfortable. We are now in the year of 2006 and it is very common for women to get tattoos. Instead of people making rude remarks just ask why one got that perticular tattoo. One of mine is a baby angel—for my grandson who was born on 9-9-99 and he died on 9-20-99. So as you can tell that is in his memory. And one is of a heart with a rose and wings……in honor of my mom who was told she had pancreatic cancer.

I have no idea. I have three tattoos and i love each of them. one is in honor of my grandfather who died of stomach cancer (it is a bow and arrow with the word vivre, live in french) they are such a part of me i can’t imagine being without them. i think they are so interesting and really tell a story about a person. it is almost like your body is a canvas of your life and these are extra little things that spice it up

I think they are extremely ulgy but each to his own.
A temp worker at work had huge spiderwebs all up both arms, and he too was virtually covered in them. He looke dlike crap to be honest and i can understand his trouble in meeting women. I mean who wants to date spiderman. He told me that he got tatoos as he worked and could pay for them. He considers them an investment. Ohhhhhhhhhhh yeah those things are going up in value and someone’s gonna buy those tatoos some day:).
Tatoos really screw up a womans body. It’s rare that you can memt a woman over 40 who did not wish she had never heard of them. So ya got bob’s name on your arm and you just married joe:):). I could really get cold feet to get in bed with a lady with billy, or I love goerge wrote all over her boobs:):).
If you have ot have one get a flower or something, not your boyfriends or girlfriends name, phone number or a picture of his penis on you. It’ll back fire soooner or late rwhen you meet mr. or mrs right.Tatoos really have been known to damage skin.
Not to be unfeeling but why give us all the personal info?
Tattoos are so much a part of society now not to have one is different.
