Any time a person does something that they believe will bring improvement to their lives, it can raise their self esteem. And cosmetic surgery definitely falls into that category.
Most of us want to look our best and when we do, we feel better about ourselves, we have more self confidence.

The other person answered it beautifully and I second it. I am speaking from experience myself, and the answer is absolutely it can. I am totally supportive of any cosmetic procedures for your own benefit. The important thing is to find the right plastic surgeon and don’t go to anyone who is not certified by The American Board of Plastic Surgery. There are a lot of certifications, but ASPS has always been known as the defining criteria. Most fees for consults are very small. You should like him/her as well. If you don’t, then move on. But don’t necessarily go by price. The good ones are always around the same prices and plastic surgery is not the place to price compare. Also, there is a great board that you can search and post on, and lots of people to help you find the right doctor.
