What could this be? I take good care of my teeth and this is freaking me out! Help!

what is this? it swells when i eat too. is this serious

Without doing anything cosmetic like veneers and stuff? My teeth are really straight…thankfully it was something that just happened naturally and my parents didn’t have to cough up the cash for braces. However, how do you get the teeth to be that white and the gums to be that pink and healthy looking? How do you pinken your gums? Also can you do this without having to spend a ton of money at the dentist? I do take care of my teeth and get regular cleanings but I just feel I can do more to make my teeth healthier. Also, it probably sounds really shallow but I am getting ready to start a new career in which I will constantly be dealing with new clients and I really want to pep up my teeth and smile. I just think your smile says about you.:-)

I’m only 18 years old and all that I think about day and night is the thought of losing my teeth. I noticed that they move very slightly when I apply pressure but i’ve heard that all teeth have a little movement. I was at the dentist recently and he said my gums are inflamed so I guess it means I have gingivitis. He took x-rays and examined them and didn’t say I had anything serious or that my teeth are loose. Yet I constantly worry about it, probably bc i didnt take good care of my teeth when I was younger. If I go to the dentist every 6 months and brush/floss and eat well, will I be able to keep all of my teeth. I’m so worried bc im gonna be in college next year and I dont want to be rejected by girls just because im missing my teeth. Are my worries legitimate or am I worried too much. Its always in the back of my mind. I feel like my future is tainted and that I wont be able to enjoy life because of my teeth.

I know this is nasty but a girl in my school had really terrible looking teeth and her gums are all red and swollen. I have really bad teeth too but it’s cuz I don’t have enamel on mine. They were that way when they came in. She just don’t never take care of hers and I told her all her teeth will be falling out before we get to high school, but she don’t believe me. Anybody know if I’m right or is she? oh yeah, they’re her adult teeth I’m pretty sure cuz we’re both 12.

I had a childhood accident that pushed my tooth back into my gums. My mom wouldnt let me have it pulled out and use braces, so they had it capped instead. years later, the original tooth started turning black and bleeding – we got it changed and the current cap is very cool, the tooth doesnt bleed anymore. Just last week 2 growth-like ‘boils’ appeared on the growth above the capped tooth but it doesnt hurt. Can anyone tell me what this is all about? I’m yet to visit the dentist but I’d like to know what I can do before i go. thanks!

+ So I’m not the best at brushing my teeth, and I have braces as well. + My mom & step dad get on me about not brushing my teeth good & my gums bleed very badly.
+ What’s a good way to brush the teeth & gums better, because I’m getting surgery in about a little over a month.
+ If anybody can give any advice or help, rather than the old “Ohh just brush your teeth twice a day”
