I bought my first horse a few months ago. He had his teeth floated yesterday. How soon can I put a bridle on him? He seems to be eating fine, doesn’t seem bothered. I wasn’t here when the vet was here so I didn’t get any after-care instructions.

I know that these are constantly mentioned procedures on the Animal Planet rescue shows but wild ones live without any such care. Even the feral horses of the American west get along without these procedures even though they are descended from domestic stock.
