perfect Teeth

As an example I list David Bowie who had really ugly teeth in the 70s, but if you look at him now like many others they seem so much better. Just how do these people fix the damage, from say perhaps drink, drugs, smoking etc etc? I’ve took care of my teeth but even sometimes I find myself a little envious lol!! ^_^.

I just had two teeth pulled out. I believe the dentist said that they were my wisdom teeth. However, he did not tell me how to care for my mouth. what can I eat? Can I work tomorrow? When can I take the gauze out???? Please HELP!

Today he went to get his wisdom teeth taking out he said to give him a call Friday night but I highly doubt that he will be able to talk. I only know how it feels to have your eye teeth taking out so I’m not sure if its harder or not to have the wisdom teeth taking out. He thinks he will be back to normal the next day but I don’t think he will. Should I call him tonight just to check up on him or should I wait until Friday night? I don’t want to seem like I don’t care but I don’t want to be annyoing. What should I do?

I had my wisdom teeth out a little more than a week ago and I’ve been taking great care of the sites. I talked to my doctor the other day and he said I should wait a little while before I smoke cigarettes, but he didn’t say anything about weed. Does anyone know how long you’re supposed to wait?

I am scheduled to have one of my bottom wisdom teeth out on the 16th. Only one because my insurance will not pay ANYTHING until July. I was also diagnosed with periodontal disease and scheduled for root scaling and planing.
Overnight the other bottom wisdom tooth has decided to erupt and I am in some serious pain (again).
My question is this-
since this is a financial issue for me and I am unable to have everything done at once- should I go ahead on the 16th and have the other wisdom tooth out and then delay the periodontal therapy until February when we get our tax return?
I realize the importance of having it done but money is a real issue here.
Also I would like to add that I do have a Care Credit card but I will be maxing it out either way this goes.

I went to the dentist back in December I believe, and looking at the xrays my wisdom teeth are at a 90 degree angle from the rest of my bottom teeth. They didn’t bother me then, except for a bit of crowding, but the gum above one of them is starting to get a bit tender. What is the longest I can wait to get this taken care of? I’m wondering because I’m going overseas for 3 months, and may have to wait until August.

I had three of my wisdom teeth removed when I was seventeen. The final one was in a bad position for removal, and the orthodontist told me that it would be best to wait on that last one for the time being.
Well, now I am 34, and that wisdom tooth came in straight as an arrow several years ago. I thought it was so cool that I actually had one of my wisdom teeth! Unfortunately, over the past few months it had started to hurt a little bit, then a little bit more, then a lot more! I kept thinking that if I took care of it like I do the rest of my teeth, it would be okay, but it just kept hurting.
Then suddenly, it stopped hurting altogether. Like overnight, no pain at all. Someone told me that it’s possible that the nerve has died, and that it’s only a matter of time before the tooth falls out. If that’s the case, couldn’t I save myself a trip back to the orthodontist and just wait for nature to take it’s course?
If I’m totally wrong, please tell me.

my bff is getting is wisdom teeth pulled out in the morning. I will be taking care of him for the next couple of days and was wondering what to do for him. i got him ice cream and i am thinking about making different fruit smoothies. do you know which kind would be best? have a recipe? please share. how about fainting? my other friend fainted a lot afterwards and i was wondering what i should do if that happens. thank you for ur answers.

Well my dad will overreact and say i never took care of my teeth properly and stuff, and i’m not close with him at all, how can i do this without him around im 15 id just like to go into the clinic alone and get it over with without him and leave and go home myself, is this possible.

I’m having my wisdom teeth removed next month. I’m a mother of two and I also work part time. My husband is taking his vacation time that same week so he can take care of me and the kids while I recover. I was wondering how long should I request off from work? I’m a cashier at a grocery store so if I’m not fully recovered I don’t want to go back to work. How long did it take you before you went back to work or school?
