The British don’t have ‘rotten’ teeth, their teeth is just normal.
But when you compare them to the pretentious American Hollywood stars who get plastic surgery for perfect looking teeth then it will seem that way. British people just don’t care that much for that superficial quality.

We don’t, it’s just that we don’t get our teeth straightened and bleached unless we really need to have it done. In America, everyone has braces and whitening because only perfect teeth are acceptable.
We like to be more interesting- we don’t want to all look the same. We go to the dentist so that our teeth are healthy, not perfect.

Not all of them have bad teeth, just some. And that goes for people from every country. For some reason which I never understood there seems to be this stereotype that all Brits have bad teeth…I’ve met quite a few and the ones I’ve met have had normal teeth. They actually have really good dental service there and no not all of them drink tea…and tea isn’t a death sentence for you teeth either.

It is a stereotype but most stereotypes are grounded in some truth.
Some Brits smoke, drink tea, don’t go to the dentist.
There really isn’t a straight answer because they probably have the same ratio of nice teeth to gross teeth as the US does.
