You can buy Doggie toothbrushes and paste and a pet store or your Vet. If your dog is young start brushing now, so she gets used to it Brush like you do your own teeth, at least once a day if at all possible or as much as you can. Most Vets will clean dogs teeth, when they have a build up of tarter, don’t wait for the gums to get red and inflamed. If the teeth get really bad it can lead to death, the bacteria can get into their blood stream.

Yes there is doggy toothbrush and paste, you can get it at petsmart or any pet shop, there are 2 kinds of brushes, one is a rubbery brush that fits over your finger and you brush your finger back and forth on his teeth, the second is a regular brush with a very small head, and toothpaste comes in chicken and beef flavors, your veterinarian also multi-tasks as the dentist! so make sure your veterinarian is doing routine oral checkups along with his regular checkup.

Dental disease is one of the most common health disorders in dogs. Good dental care includes professional veterinary dental care and home oral care for dogs and puppies, including toothbrushing. If you would like to view a step by step video of toothbrushing, search YouTube for “How to Clean Your Dog’s Teeth.”

Yes, buy a Dog toothbrush and dog safe toothpaste from Petco, Petsmart or Target..only use Dog safe toothpaste because human grade will make them sick. I would make a habit and brush Every other day or at least once a week. If your dog has tartar and very bad breath, the vet may advise on a dental cleaning. But to avoid all this, I use a product called Liba 2 . It’s a holistic, natural spray that has been amazing at reducing the tartar !

there are finger cotes for dog teeth brushing, along with special dog toothpaste. A regular once a year dental exam by the vet is well worth the $. Also large, meaty, raw bones work as dental floss on dogs and help them keep their teeth clean. The worst thing is wet dog food.

Do not use toothpaste when brushing it’s teeth! It can be very harmful! Use one of your old toothbrushes and scrub his teeth at least once a week. I have a miniature schnauzer and that’s what I do.

I’m not a DOg expert but all I know is that dogs can have types of germs in their mouths and also they can get cavities!
Check with the vet!
