Caring For A Loose Tooth While It’s Loose And After It’s Gone?

ok so i’ve searched google and Y!answers and getting anxious…
i know i should let my son wiggle it out himself, but how do you care for the gums after it’s gone. is it similar to caring for pulled wisdom teeth?

gargle with water check to see if all the tooth is there and go about the day as normal.;-)

You do not have to do anything. Rinsing with a little warm salt water or 1/2 water and 1/2 Hydrogen Peroxide solution is helpful if he can swish and spit. If the child is not good at swishing and spiting, you could swab either solution with cotton.

Hey quit worrying, it will be ok no matter !! the rt resorbs slowly but it will fall out!1 Doc W
