it’s ok honestly. the nerve has become irritated because it was a deep hole. take some paracetamol and eventually the nerve will settle

There can be a couple of reasons…
-When you have a deep filling the nerve can be irritated because the filling is close to the nerve, therefore causing pain and sensitivity.
-The filling may be a little high and hitting on the adjacent tooth too hard causing pain and sensitivity.
If the pain lasts for more than a couple of days head back to the dentist to have them check your bite and make sure the filling isn’t too high. Take some ibuprofen for now.
Good luck

the filling could be so deep that it is close to the nerve. pain in your teeth can radiate. all the nerves are connected to once nerve.
also your occlusion might be off. when the dentist asked you to bight down on the occlusion paper and asked you if your bite felt right, you most likely did not feel it becaues you were numb. give it a few more days. take some meds and if it unbearable, go back to the dentist !
good luck
